Artists

The Maurice Verbaet Center is an ambitious project aimed at the announcement of the Belgian post-war art. It is a new anchor point in the Antwerp, Belgian and European artistic world. It focuses on work by artists who are selected on the basis of plastic affinities and whose talent is recognised, but insufficiently exploited and deserves greater attention. The selection includes virtually forgotten artists who are worthy to be (re)discovered, artists whose names are unknown outside Belgium or young artists who could use some support.

The Maurice Verbaet Center works closely with certain artists or copyright holders and considers partnerships as sustainable commitments.
