Jan Fabre [1958]

Fabre breaks through the traditional borders between artistic disciplines. He is multidisciplinary and became famous as a plastic artist, theatre maker and author. He exhibits his work all over the world. His constant evolving artistic search is powered by his fascination for the human body, animals and scientific approach of the world. He was invited to prestigious institutes to engage in a dialogue with the permanent collections (carte blanche at the Louvre, 2008 and in the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Lille, 2013).
